The Quick-Set Apex Tent is a quick and easy setup tent that will get you setup and camping in no time! With no poles or assembly required, this tent sets up fast with its hub systems. This A-Frame style tent will provide ample sleeping space for up to three people inside. For comfort, campers can put the rain fly on as a rain or wind block or choose to have the screens open for air flow and to see the nighttime sky.

Clam quick set A frame

So I took my new tent camping for a week and it rained 4 full days with 5 or six thunderstorms:) It stayed in position and weathered the weather. I stayed dry and so did all of my gear especially my bed (cot). I did cover the fly with a tarp one night. I set it up and took it down by myself. It took longer to stake than to set up. The only downside is the size. The case is 5’ long and weighs about 17 lbs., but I knew this and it does fit in my car with the back seat down. I didn’t use the fly for three of the clear nights and had a magnificent view of the stars. I don’t know how long the mechanism will last but I take care of my camping gear.

Would buy again

Haven't used the Clam A-Frame tent yet (it's still only February), but the purchase transaction was great. Received an e-mail notification upon purchase and tracking information once it was shipped so I wasn't worried about the status of my order. So my review is solely based on the purchase experience and not (yet) about the product.
