Stay warm, comfortable, and focused on the bite with the Otter Vortex Pro Cabin Ice Fishing Shelter. Designed for 2–3 anglers, this 5-sided hub shelter provides 48 square feet of fishable space while maintaining a portable and easy-to-manage design for ice fishing adventures.
The Vortex Pro Cabin features Otter’s patented THERMALTEC 600 Denier Fabric Layer System, combining a light-blocking and wind-stopping outer shell with a quilted thermal inner layer. The triple-layer construction is designed to provide durability, warmth, and reduced condensation in cold winter conditions.
Built for stability and frequent use on the ice, the shelter features extreme-duty 11 mm Cobalt poles, reinforced corners, full door stabilizing poles, and a wide base that maximizes usable fishing space. The front dual-coil zippered door provides convenient access, while removable TPU daylight/lookout windows with insulated covers let you control visibility and light inside the shelter.
The Vortex Pro Cabin also includes practical storage features such as interior wide-bottom pockets, rod and tool holders, an overhead cargo storage net, and exterior tie-down strap pockets. A propane hose port with a hook-and-loop flap provides added convenience when using compatible heating equipment.
For secure setup, the shelter includes Otter’s Ice-Lock Anchoring System, anchor tie-down kit, and heavy-duty nylon wind anchor straps with adjustable quick-release buckles. When the day is done, the shelter packs down to just 56" L x 11" H x 11" D and fits into the included oversized 900 Denier poly-lined carry bag for easier transport and storage.
